Debugging Tips

Having trouble using Slite? Try these common troubleshooting steps — from quick refreshes to deeper fixes — to get things working again.

1. Refresh or restart Slite.

  • Refreshing your browser or restarting the desktop app will install recent fixes and updates.
  • On mobile, you need to manually update from the App Store or Google Play.

2. Sign out and back in.

  • This should help with authentication issues, in particular.

3. Try using Slite in a private or incognito window in your browser.

  • If Slite works in a private window, a browser extension might be interfering.
  • Disable extensions one by one to isolate the issue.

4. Try another browser or device, or use the desktop app.

  • Chrome is the most thoroughly tested browser, but you can also try Firefox or Safari.
  • If you're still having trouble, try installing the desktop app from  here .

5. Check if you have antivirus software or a firewall blocking Slite.

  • If Slite loads on one network/device but not another, your firewall or antivirus might be blocking it.
  • Contact  support@slite.com  to request Slite’s IP info if needed.

6. Clear the cache / browsing history / cookies in your browser (or uninstall and reinstall the app.)

  • Try this if none of the above worked.

7. Use our Copy/Paste Debugger tool if you are having trouble pasting content into Slite.
