Emojis

We love emojis at Slite! It's super easy to add them into your docs.

You can type /emoji to show the menu, but the most important shortcut is simply :.

Type a colon and the emoji menu will appear. You can then type the name or category of your emoji to filter through the list.

How to add emojis in other places?

We don't currently support emojis in the doc title or in a few other places. In these rare cases, here is how you can show the native emoji picker menu for your OS:
  • Mac users: use the keyboard shortcut ctrl + cmd + spacebar
  • Windows users: use the keyboard shortcut win + period (.) or Win + semicolon (;)
