Connecting Slite & Super
Initial Slite Connection
You can use Slite as a Data Source everywhere in Super right away, without any manual setup.
The connection is seamless as no authentication is required; if your team is using both Slite and Super, then your Slite workspace will be indexed automatically.
How Super Indexes Your Slite Docs
What We Sync
Super will index all documents from your Slite workspace, including attachments (e.g., PDF files).
What We Don't Sync
Super won't index the following:
- Collection attributes
- Comments
- Document history
Refresh Rate
New Slite content is indexed in Super automatically and will be available briefly after it’s been created.
Metadata
To make your search results more useful, Super automatically indexes metadata from your Slite documents, such as:
- doc titles
- doc URLs
- doc authors
- doc creation dates
- doc last edit dates
Access Control & Privacy
Super members can only ask and search on Slite docs they have access to.
Doc permissions are checked in real-time to ensure users only see content they're authorized to view.
This ensures that your Slite workspace's security and privacy settings are fully preserved when searching through Super.
