The MCP feature is currently in beta, please contact support@slite.com if you have any feedback or if you encounter any issues.
Lets AI assistants search across your connected sources from outside Slite — directly inside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible tool.
Why use the External Search MCP?
Get instant answers from across all your connected Data Sources
Instead of searching through multiple platforms yourself (Google Drive, Slack, Linear, etc.), ask your AI assistant and it'll search across all your connected data sources simultaneously to find the answers you need.
Your team spends less time platform-hopping and more time using information.
Turn scattered knowledge into actionable insights
Pull information from across different platforms to create comprehensive reports, onboarding guides, or customer announcements.
What used to require checking 5+ different tools now happens in a single query.
Work where you already work
Interact with all your connected data sources directly from your favorite AI assistant without switching between platforms.
Setting up the External Search MCP
The External Search MCP supports OAuth authentication so getting started is easy. You'll just need to add the following URL as a custom MCP connector in your AI assistant’s settings:
https://api.super.work/mcp
For Claude
Go to Settings > Connectors > Add custom connector, then enter the MCP URL above.
Sign in to your Super account and authorize Claude.
For ChatGPT
In the web app, go to Settings > Apps > Advanced Settings, and enable Developer Mode.
Create a new app with the MCP URL.
Sign in to your Super account and authorize ChatGPT.
For other MCP clients
Add https://api.super.work/mcp as a remote MCP server URL and complete the OAuth authentication when prompted.
