By connecting Slite with your HubSpot account, you can instantly ask about all your deals and their properties directly in the Slite Agent. This guide will walk you through the key aspects of the Slite and HubSpot connection.
Connecting HubSpot & the Slite Agent
This is the first step to get started. This section covers how to set up the connection between Slite and HubSpot.
Required permissions for setup
To connect Slite and HubSpot, you must have the necessary permissions in both platforms.
In Slite: Permission to add or remove agent sources depends on your team's settings. By default, only workspace admins or owners can set up a connection. However, a Slite admin can enable a setting to allow all members to add and remove agent sources.
In HubSpot: The user connecting the account must be an admin in HubSpot.
Initial HubSpot connection
To begin, you need to connect your HubSpot account with Slite.
In Slite, click Agent Sources in the left sidebar (at the bottom).
Click + New source , then choose or search for HubSpot and click Connect HubSpot .
A new popup will open. Click Sign in to your HubSpot account to proceed with the sign-in process. Another popup might appear and disappear automatically but no further action is required.

The initial data sync will begin.
Once the initial sync is complete, you can use HubSpot everywhere in the Slite Agent as an agent source.

Slite Agent syncs deals and properties from the past year.
Refresh rate
New deals will appear in the Slite Agent every 6 hours, but you can always sync manually if you need.
Metadata
To make your search results more useful, the Slite Agent automatically indexes properties from your HubSpot deals (e.g., Amount, Close Lost Reason, Close Won Reason, Close Date, etc.)
To edit which properties to sync, click Edit Properties, then deselect the properties you don't want to sync.
