Deleting Your User Account

If you want to leave your team’s Slite workspace, follow the steps below.

How to Close Your User Account

From the web or the desktop app

    Click your workspace logo in the top-left corner.
    Select Settings from the menu.
    Under My settings, scroll down up to the Account Deletion section and click Delete my account.

From the mobile app

    Tap the Gear icon in the top right.
    Expand the Account Deletion section and tap Delete account.
    Acknowledge this cannot be undone and tap Delete your account.

What Happens Next

  • You’ll receive an email with a link to download a backup containing the docs of My private channel.
  • The backup download link will expire after 15 days.
  • All of the data that we stored for you will be removed after these 15 days.
Please keep in mind this action is effective immediately and you'll lose all data associated with your user account, as well as all access to your team's data.
Any content that you've written and shared with your team members will remain and will still be available to them in the Slite workspace.If you were the admin of some channels, make sure to  transfer the ownership  to someone else before leaving.
