Importing from Google Drive
You can quickly import your Google Docs, so that all of your knowledge lives in one place.
You can also embed your Google Drive files straight in your Slite docs with our dedicated integration. Head to this article to learn more.
Import your Google docs as Slite docs
Click on "Import" in the lower section of the left sidebara. Alternatively, in the Mac app, you can choose File > Import... from the menu bar.
Select the Google Drive option.
You have the option to import a single file or multiple files. In both cases you'll download the files from Google drive. We recommend using the .html format, but also support .md, .docx or .txt.
Pick the destination channel in Slite (where you want your import to live)
You'll receive a notification when the import is complete!
After that, you can click "Go to the channel" to see your freshly imported docs.
