Reorganize your documents as needed, either by dragging and dropping them in the sidebar, or by using the Move to
option.
Click a doc in the sidebar, hold, then drag and drop it to move it.
If you drop a doc between two other docs, that is where it will be moved to. A blue line will show the new location before you drop the doc.
If you drag a doc and drop it on top of another one, your doc will be moved as a new subdoc below the doc outlined in blue.

You can also move blocks in your Slite docs by dragging and dropping the four-dot menus to the left of each element.
Alternatively, you can quickly move blocks up and down by pressing Option (Mac) or Alt (Windows) + Up Arrow or Down Arrow.
There are three ways to access the Move
to function:
- In the sidebar, click the three-dot menu to the right of a doc
- In the sidebar, right-click a doc
- In the editor, click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner
You'll then be able to pick a destination for your doc.
Pick a destination for the doc you want to move.
In the Channels
section in the upper part of the sidebar, you'll find your private channel as well as any other channels you've previously pinned.
To pin a channel from the More Channels
section, right-click it and choose Pin channel
. To unpin a channel, right-click it and choose Unpin channel
.
Pin or unpin channels by right-clicking on them or via their three-dot menu.
Similarly to docs, pinned channels can be dragged and dropped to be reordered. A blue line will show the new channel location before you drop it.
The channels listed below More Channels are listed alphabetically and cannot be reordered.
