Do you need to know who’s viewed your doc, when it was last updated, or how it’s performing?
Slite makes it easy to track doc activity, contributors, and impact — here’s how.
Doc Information
To access Doc Information, hover over the top of your doc and click Verify this doc.
Click "Verify this doc" to access doc information.
In the Doc Info part of the modal that appears, you'll see some information about the document:
its contributors (i.e. who made changes to the doc)
viewers (i.e. who read the doc at least once)
last edit (last time some changes were made to the doc)
Doc verification & doc info.
What counts as an edit?
Slite only updates the last edit date (and adds an entry to the activity log) for meaningful changes — roughly 20 characters or more. Tiny tweaks, like fixing a typo or adjusting punctuation, won't move the last-edit date or mark you as a contributor. This keeps the activity log focused on real updates rather than every keystroke.
You'll also see some options related to doc verification.
Let's say you wrote an important update and you want to verify if it has reached your audience.
