Board Views (Kanban)

The Board View is a flexible way to visualize your Collection docs in a Kanban-style layout — perfect for tracking projects, ideas, or workflows

What is the Board View?

The Board View allows you to visualize a Collection as columns — like a Kanban board.
Each column corresponds to an attribute (e.g., status, priority), and docs appear as cards that can be moved between columns.
You can use a Board View for:
  • Content backlogs
  • Task management
  • Pipeline tracking (e.g. job openings)

How to Create a Board View

1) Create a view in an existing Collection

To switch to the Board View, click the "View options" button in the top right corner of the Collection and select the Board view type.
Choose how you'd like to group your docs, your display properties, then click "Create new view."

2) Use the editor command

You can type /collection and choose New collection - Board view to create a new Board View.

Move Docs Around

To move a doc from one column to another, you can drag and drop it. The change will be reflected on all the embedded versions of that Collection, regardless of its view.

Create New Docs and Columns

To create a new doc in your board, hover over the title of a column and click +.
To create a new column, click + New column. To manage it (rename, hide, or delete it), click the hamburger menu next to its title.
