Channel Display Settings
The channel display settings help you to understand the usage of your Slite account at a high level, and/or easily retrieve archived docs.
Fade out inactive docs
When you enable this feature, any docs or channels in your workspace that are not actively used will be greyed out. This functionality is based on heat-mapping technology; this means that the criteria to grey out a channel or doc are uniquely tailored to the usage of your Slite account.
We encourage you to archive any channels or docs that are not being used anymore.
Show archived docs
As mentioned above, we actually want to encourage you to use the archive feature in Slite. Regularly archiving docs will help you maintain a clean knowledge base structure, and can help your team more easily find the content that matters to them.
Via the channel display settings, you can pull up archived docs within your doc tree structure again. Also, you can filter Search or Ask to only go through archived docs. So no content will ever be lost!
