Collapsible Sections

Collapsible blocks let you contract or expand sections of your document (if they are located below a header), to provide a cleaner look.

How to collapse a section

Click on the arrow to the left of a header. This lets you toggle whether the content for each section is collapsed or expanded.

Keeping it collapsed by default

You can collapse or expand by default the section by hitting Shift + Click when hovering it, or by using the option in the block menu.

Where do sections start and stop?

Sections include all the elements below a header, and stop when a header of the same level is met.

A section under an Heading1 for instance will take all blocks including H2 and H3 section underneath. It will stop when another H1 is met.

If you want to stop a section before, you can use a separator, which you can simply insert by hitting ---.
