Our new Channel display settings allow you to identify docs that have become inactive aka 'cold' and show archived docs in their original place.
We use heat-mapping technology to gauge activity across your workspace and apply a heat level not only to individual documents but also to entire sections of your tree structure, also known as parent doc with many sub-docs. It pinpoints what your team engages with and what they don't. Docs that are active aka 'hot' are those recently edited, referenced in other documents, have sub-documents, and receive comments. The more inactive aka 'colder' a doc is, the fewer of these activities it has seen.
This new feature lets you highlight inactive docs directly from the sidebar, instantly revealing where your team is active and where they aren't.
But that's not all – these settings allow you to see previously archived docs in their original positions anytime, removing any concerns around archiving valuable information.
This combination of settings empowers you to identify the most-used docs by your team and confidently archive, knowing you can always access them exactly where they belong.

n.b. Ask is controlled at the workspace level, ask your admins to turn it on if not available already.
Ask is not (yet?) capable of reasoning, and if you feed it with outdated or incorrect information, it will very confidently give you wrong answers.
That's why we built Doc status, a way to mark your doc as verified
or outdated

And that also mean you can have rich text, bullet list, sketches and so on in tables with headers!
This month, we also released our referral program. If you know a team who'd benefit from Slite, you can now share the love and earn some sweet rewards.
