Bring your docs to life with collaborative drawings, and image annotation.
Sketches work great for many of the use cases that you might currently take to Miro Boards, Whimsical, Figma, draw.io etc — and it's built into the Slite editor!
It's also collaborative and will export as an image. You can break the linear canvas of your doc and get creative.
Example of an agenda as a sketch.
Creating a sketch
Use the /sketch command. Alternatively, click the Sketch option in the editor menu to add it in your doc, and double click the block you've created to get to work.

The top bar lets you select your sketch mode (shapes, lines, text, free draw, etc) and you can use the sidebar to change colors, shapes, and more!

Drawing on an image
You can use the image icon in the far right of the Sketch toolbar (9) to import an image under 2 MB. You can then draw on this image to add context, provide a photoreal element / screenshot, and make your sketch more robust!
Using Libraries

You can download libraries of sketch elements from https://libraries.excalidraw.com/ and then upload them into the sketch editor in Slite using the three dots "⋮" button inside the Library panel.
