 Diagrams.net  (formerly  Draw.io ) lets you illustrate your documentation by creating diagrams for processes, product architecture, workflows, relational schema, and more.   Draw.io  files hosted on Google Drive, GitHub, or Trello can be embedded into any Slite document.

How your embed will work

  • You will be able to navigate in the file, zooming in and out.
  • Unlike other embeds, if you update your diagram / file in Google Drive you will need to refresh your doc or just leave this doc and come back to see the last changes.

How to embed from Google Drive

Note: these embeds will only appear on web, not in the Slite desktop app.
    .1Head to  Diagrams.net 
    .2Click Share > Get link > Choose "anyone with the link"
    .3Click Create and copy the link
    .4In Slite, type '/draw.io' or choose  Draw.io  in the inline toolbar and paste your link.

How to embed from  Diagrams.net  directly (or GitHub)

Note: your embed will not update automatically in Slite, if the file is not hosted through Google.
    .1Head to  Diagrams.net 
    .2In the menu, click File > Publish > Link
    .3In Slite, type '/draw.io' or choose  Draw.io  in the inline toolbar and paste your link.

How to embed from Trello

    .1Add the  Draw.io  power up, if you don't have it.
    .2In the Trello card, click on 'edit' on the  Draw.io  file.
    .3In the  Draw.io  window, open File > Export as URL > Create & copy the link.
    .4In Slite, type '/draw.io' or choose  Draw.io  in the inline toolbar and paste your link.
